I recently purchased an in-swing basement escape window and had a local mason install it. We absolutely love it, even the mason commented that it was the nicest one he has seen. It was very well packaged for shipping, arrived quickly, installed easily, and looks great. Thanks!

Great product. The window was delivered quickly to my home and was packaged for safety. I had a question about the install in my basement bedroom and called customer service. They responded quickly and answered my question immediately. My family loves the window and my wife and I sleep better knowing that when our grandchildren visit and sleep in the basement...if an emergency occurs...they have an egress window available. Great window / Great service.

expensive and we were told we paid way to much by our builder. After the install (that took creative thinking) our builder said he changed his mind and said it was an amazing window and he loves it.

I ordered the In-Swing Single Hung Egress Window. My order was shipped immediately and arrived well packaged and undamaged. I researched the price online and found EgressWindows.com was competitive in price and I was able to talk to a customer service representative to place my order and ask questions. Great window love the design. The only thing I would change better instructions the window comes some what disassembled the spring that helps the window go up and down isn't assembled kinda tough to figure out without instructions.

Windows are a great design (in my opinion) for an egress window as they open in two different ways (one for daily use and one for emergency exit). Two reasons I didn't give it 5 stars. #1. The latch that open the window for emergency exit is difficult to latch/unlatch. It feels poorly engineered. #2. The FedEx delivery person dragged the 75 lb windows up and across my porch damaging my porch. The second item is not really to do with the window, but since the company packs the heavy windows in plywood, I think they should give FedEx instructions about handling the package. Great design with two negatives.

Thank you for your input. Information such as this helps improve our processes. As for the latch, there is a normal "break-in period" where the latch will be a little more stiff. It will loosen given a up with a little bit of use. And secondly, the FedEx delivery person should not have dragged a package at all regardless of our instructions "Glass, handle with care" . I am 100% satisfied with the egress window I purchased from Egresswindows.com. The product was the perfect application for my project and it arrived on the west coast just a few days after I ordered. I had a question before it arrived and left Jeff a voice mail. He returned my call and left a detailed explanation that answered all my questions and more. This window was used to replace a 31" standard basement window. It worked great because I only had to lengthen the current opening without changing the width at all. Meets code for egress and was very easy to install according to the contractor.

Great Window! but....

Great window for the price compared to having a custom one made that matched the rest. I had to have an egress window for a new bedroom I built and this was perfect. The window though is not thick like many standard windows for a 4" finished wall, so the look is very modern and works, just be aware though if that is not the look for you.
Shipping was super fast! One of the plastic clips that holds the window shut (via shut from the egress opening) was broken. I have emailed them twice and once with pictures and have gotten no response back on getting a replacement plastic piece.
One of the corners of the window was not "welded" all the way either but you don't see it unless you look. So for the money and value it is great compared to other custom options. Unit was shipped wrapped in plywood, very well packed.
Would I use this window again for egress situations? Yes.

Nice Product with Great Customer Service

The windows are very nice and let a lot more light into my basement. I ordered three windows and one was damaged during shipping. I contacted customer service and after submitting a few photos they sent a new one. It was a relief to have the damaged one replaced so easily.
