As a contracting company we cherish quality products at a fair price. We recently installed an Elite Egress Window Kit. The kit is fantastic, we could not be happier with the final results. Even the local building inspector could not believe the quality of this unit. There is no question we would recommend the Elite Egress Window Kit. We will use this one from here on out anytime we are called upon to install as safe way out of a basement. The shipping was so fast. The window arrived in 2 days. The well and cover arrived less than a week from ordering. This is a great company that I cannot say enough great things about. Keep up the great work!

Great window well with terrible cover

Excellent window well and great shipping. Do not buy the cover; very disappointed on its use of small velcro pieces to keep it closed. With the cover had a quality latch and hinges; cannot handle Colorado winds.

I am sorry to hear that the standard Velcro tabs didn't work for your high wind situation. Under most normal situations it is preferred to make the lifting effort easy so that even a small child could raise the cover with minimal effort. In your instance, with high winds, perhaps a more substantial size and strength (industrial strength) Velcro is better fit. We will be sending you Industrial strength Velcro by mail. Great Product

This is a very good cover. It was easy to install, and the rubber feet and Velcro help secure the cover to the egress well. The velcro is "super duty" - it takes a good push or pull to get the velcro to release, which is good for those windy days. We have had quite a bit of rain since the installation, and no water has come into the window well. Again - worth the extra money to complete the project.

The well looks great. However, being inexperienced when purchasing this, didn't realize the window is higher than the cover so I cannot open the window before taking the cover off. Would have been beneficial if when buying it would have explained more options.
