I kind of expected the grate to fit the well more accurately . 2-3 inches wider on the rounded corners. As for the strength, I can't complain. It did not bend when I drove my truck over it before installation

I ordered the grate for Stif Back II in white and the size and style of the grate was just what my husband and I were looking for. It helped that we already knew we had a Monarch brand window well before we purchased.

Worst Purchase Online Ever

I am sick that I spent so much money to purchase these online only to find out that every window well is a different size and they will not work. I am back to square one and wish I never would have purchased these
Owner Response: I am sorry for frustration with this. When purchasing a Grate to cover an existing Egress Well it is imperative that you purchase the correct grate that goes with the well you have.
